Olivia Nazarenus put in work while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, Shannon Mentz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. That triple was her first of the season. Adelyn Schmidt was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run.
