Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Lynden Lions walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Bremerton 41-7 at home. The result was nothing new for Lynden, who have now won five contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Lynden's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Bremerton, they have yet to win a matchup on the road this season, leaving them with a 8-3 record.
Lynden will take on North Kitsap at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Kitsap will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. Bremerton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
