Even though Bradford Prep scored an imposing 61 points on Monday, Pine Lake Prep still came out on top. Pine Lake Prep took their matchup against Bradford Prep 72-61. Winning is a bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 17 to 6 on the offensive boards, as Pine Lake Prep did.
Pine Lake Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Robert Magner led the charge by scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds. Wes Statzer was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Apex Friendship pushed their score all the way to 55 last Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 62-55 to Middle Creek. Apex Friendship has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
