When it comes to explaining why Park Vista lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tray Goldwire. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bendrick Lindor, who scored eight points.
Park Vista has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Atlantic Christian, their win was their 17th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Park Vista will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Palm Beach Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Palm Beach Lakes is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Atlantic Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Jupiter Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Jupiter Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Saturday.
