On Friday Waldron take on Michigan Lutheran at 7:00 PM. Waldron are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Waldron, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They took their game against Litchfield last week 36-28. Senior mark roney was the offensive standout of the match for Waldron, as he rushed for 241 yards and 3 touchdowns. In fact, with 10 tackles roney was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Michigan Lutheran suffered a grim 14-38 defeat to Crossroads Charter Academy.
Waldron's win lifted them to 1-2 while Michigan Lutheran's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Waldron can add another positive mark to their record or if Michigan Lutheran can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Waldron's step.
