Basketball Recap: Bell Creek Academy Piles Up the Points Against Riverview

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Bell Creek Academy's strategy against Riverview on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bell Creek Academy Panthers blew the Riverview Sharks out of the water with a 65-20 final score. With the Panthers ahead 32-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Bell Creek Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaslyn Easley, who posted 13 points along with six steals and five rebounds. That's the most steals Easley has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Christyana Allen, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.

Bell Creek Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

Bell Creek Academy pushed their record up to 10-9 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points per game. As for Riverview, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Bell Creek Academy has already played their next contest, a 66-53 win against North Tampa Christian Academy on the 15th. Riverview has also already played their next game (against Brandon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
