They took a 65-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stingrays. Middleton has struggled against Sumner recently, as their game on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Middleton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Felix Harrell, who scored 16 points. Harrell scored a full 26.7% of Middleton's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Caneil Satchwell, who scored 12 points.
Middleton bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Sumner, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
