The Alhambra Bulldogs lost against the Deer Valley Wolverines back in January of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Alhambra took a 57-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Deer Valley. Alhambra has not had much luck with Deer Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Alhambra's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Samuel Gillaspy, who scored 12 points. Jaxson Allred was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Alhambra's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Deer Valley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alhambra's road trip will continue as they head out to face San Marin at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. As for Deer Valley, they will square off against California at 5:00 p.m. on December 9th.
