Softball Recap: Naselle Has No Trouble Against Oakville

Naselle won the last time they faced Oakville and things went their way on Friday too. The Comets put the hurt on the Acorns with a sharp 22-6 win. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by nine runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Naselle and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.5 runs over those games. As for Oakville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Naselle will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Acorns: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
