The Manchester Central Little Green fell victim to the Windham Jaguars''s stalwart defense on Saturday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 28-0 loss at the hands of the Jaguars. Manchester Central has struggled against Windham recently, as their game on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Windham can attribute much of their success to Tiger An, who rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Chris Brearley, who rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Manchester Central has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Windham, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manchester Central will take on Pinkerton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pinkerton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Windham, they have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Concord at 2:00 p.m. on October 28th. Concord is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
