Halifax Academy found their leader in underclassman Hayden Barlow, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barlow has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Karson Ricks, who scored four points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Kerr-Vance Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 40-22 loss to Faith Christian on Friday.
Halifax Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Kerr-Vance Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.
