The Flat Rock Rams had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Allen Park 57-22 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-7.
Flat Rock's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lily Klein, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was McKenna Williams, who scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
Flat Rock's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Allen Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
