The Anderson Titans will be playing at home against the Carlson Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Anderson had to settle for a 50-48 defeat against Riverview. Anderson has struggled against Riverview recently, as their match on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Carlson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 54-50 to Grosse Ile. That's two games in a row now that Carlson has lost by exactly four points.
Matthew MacBride put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Austin Saavedra, who scored 8 points.
Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Carlson, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Anderson came up short against Carlson when the teams last played back in March, falling 55-43. Can Anderson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
