It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Avoyelles Mustangs can now relate to. They suffered a tough 28-6 loss at the hands of Pine on Friday. Avoyelles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Avoyelles' loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Pine, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
Avoyelles does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pine will face off against Sterlington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sterlington is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
