Greencastle won against North Putnam  on Saturday with 15  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Monday. The Tiger Cubs were the clear victors by  a  15-2 margin over the Park Tudor Panthers. Considering the Tiger Cubs have won nine matchups by more than six  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Cayden Scott looked comfortable as he  tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Sam Gooch was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jayce Spidel, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.
Greencastle is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Park Tudor, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record  this season.
 Greencastle will challenge Brown County at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Tiger Cubs' favor as the  squad sits on five straight wins at home while the Eagles have been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road. As for Park Tudor, they will face off against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
