Make it five blowout wins for the Quad Cities Christian Eagles this season. They really took it to Galesburg Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-34 victory on the road. The win was just what Quad Cities Christian needed coming off of a 73-40 defeat in their prior match.
Seth Karl continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 6-for-8 from deep and dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. He also posted eight assists for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cobie Becker-Paradiso, who scored ten points along with two steals and two blocks.
Quad Cities Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Galesburg Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quad Cities Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Tri-State Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. Tri-State Christian will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Galesburg Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Morning Star Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
