Fans got a thrill when Kristian Lucashensky and Colby Blaze connected against Dartmouth. The longest such play in Old Colony this season, the connection resulted in 78 yards.
Hayden Murphy of Barnstable ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against the Indians last week. Murphy's team defeated Dartmouth as he sprinted for 73 yards on the play and finished with 127 in all.
Barnstable's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Lucashensky threw for 216 and 2 touchdowns and Blaze had 83 yards receiving. On the ground Murphy contributed 127 yards. Mike Bilodeau helped Barnstable's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 42 yards.
He was 16-20 with 1 interception.
Murphy was the best running back in the league this week. Teammate Justus Chaffee added to the ground attack by rushing for 70 yards.
Barnstable's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Lucashensky has thrown for 920 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Derek Estes has 11 catches for 220 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in Old Colony this week, Chris Whidden's team beat Richard White's team 41-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Red Raiders.
