There's no place like home for Kimball, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Prairie Mustangs 63-36. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brennan Bringelson, who posted seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Schock, who scored six points and five boards.
Kimball's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.2 points. As for Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
Kimball wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-50 win against Bridgeport on the 20th. As for Prairie, they will face off against Peetz at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
