Michael Ramos Jr Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Yucca Valley got the W thanks in part to Michael Ramos Jr playing the best football he has all season. Ramos Jr rushed for 257 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (114). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Ramos Jr and Yucca Valley will look to defend their home field on Friday against Coachella Valley at 7:00 p.m. The Trojans got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Mighty Arabs, probably because Ramos Jr had a solid game then too: he rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 95 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
