Ben Holt College Prep Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Woodland Christian Cardinals. Eight seems to be a good number for the Bobcats as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Emma Valli made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Julieann Drulias and Adryana Young did most of the damage at the plate: Drulias got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Young went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases Young has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Gabriella Rojas, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 8-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
