Kingman is 1-9 against Kingman Academy since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Kingman Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Kingman Academy Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Kingman can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Seligman 63-33 at home. The win was just what Kingman needed coming off of a 74-45 defeat in their prior contest.
Kingman got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Neo Walema out in front who scored 10 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Michael Mcculley, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Kingman Academy took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against Madison Highland Prep by a score of 62-50.
Kingman Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josh White, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Benson, who scored 14 points.
Rancho Dominguez's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Kingman's loss dropped theirs to 0-4.
Kingman came up short against Kingman Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 43-33. Can Kingman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
