Volleyball Recap: Debbie Smith CTE Academy Takes a Loss

The Debbie Smith CTE Academy Mavericks lost 3-0 to the Incline Highlanders on Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-7, 25-10.

Incline's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but LILI MORRISON led the charge by getting 23 digs and two aces. MORRISON is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of TAYLOR FINNE, who had 28 assists and five kills.

Debbie Smith CTE Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Incline, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Debbie Smith CTE Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Wooster at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Incline will square off against rival South Tahoe at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
