Baseball Recap: Triton Regional Victorious

While Triton Regional's win against Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Hawks on Thursday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Triton Regional pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Coming up, Triton Regional will be playing in front of their home fans against Lynnfield at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Pioneers' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Salem Academy Charter at 4:00 p.m. The Navigator will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
