The Dyer County Choctaws put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 58-31 win over Millington Central at home. Fans of Dyer County have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Loss or not, Millington Central got some senior leadership from Bailey Boone who scored 10 points and Alana Whiten who scored 10 points. Boone scored a full 32.3% of Millington Central's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Dyer County pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Millington Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Dyer County will head out on the road to face off against Union City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millington Central, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 6:00 p.m.
