Benton waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Anamosa Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Benton pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Anamosa, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8.

Coming up, Benton will square off against Solon on Thursday. As for Anamosa, they will head out on the road to face off against Beckman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
