Chilton and Brillion squared off in some playoff action  on Thursday, but Chilton had to settle for second. They fell  3-1 to the Lions. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won  3-2.
 Chilton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-14, 25-12,  25-21.

 Despite the  loss, Chilton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Brenna Geiser  had 15  digs and four  assists. Geiser has been hot recently, having  posted 15 or more  digs the last four times she's  played.  Rory VanDen Heuvel also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
  Maddie Miller was the offensive standout of the  match as she  had 12  digs and one  assist.
Chilton's defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Brillion, the  win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 27-4.
 Chilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brillion, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-2  victory against Valders on the 25th.
