In what's become a running theme this season, the Upsala Cardinals gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Browerville 76-42 on the road. For Upsala, this counts as revenge for the 55-51 loss the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Upsala to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samantha Pilarski, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pilarski has scored all season. Brenna Graves was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Upsala has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Browerville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Pine River-Backus the next time they take the court. Browerville will host Pine River-Backus at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Upsala will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
