Greendale is 0-10 against Wisconsin Lutheran since May of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Greendale sitting on eight straight victories and Wisconsin Lutheran on seven.
It was a proper cat-fight when Greendale took on New Berlin Eisenhower on Thursday. The Panthers never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Ayla Krecklow and Maddie Martin made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Krecklow tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Martin didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Krecklow has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. At the plate, Krecklow went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Martin went 3-for-4 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Greendale got a big performance out of Aubrey Cook, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base. Ella Padron was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Greendale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in 12 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Wisconsin Lutheran made sure to put some runs up on the board against Waukesha North on Thursday. The Vikings blew past the Northstars 10-0. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Not much got past Sydnee Braatz, who gave up just two hits to keep Waukesha North off the board.
On the hitting side, Zhana Guenther was a standout: she fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Grudzielanek, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Greendale picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 12-2-1. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, their record now sits at 8-3.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Greendale has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.9 hits per game. However, it's not like Wisconsin Lutheran struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 2.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Greendale suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Wisconsin Lutheran when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
