Video: Shilo Sanders highlightsPrime Time's kid making a name for himself after camp showing.Deion Sanders is a Pro Football Hall of Famer, two-time Super Bowl champion and one of the greatest cornerbacks to ever take the field.
"Prime Time" also moonlighted as a professional baseball player with the Braves, Giants, Reds and Yankees.
For
Shilo Sanders, emerging from the shadow of his famous father could be an enormous burden.
But the
Trinity Christian (Cedar Hill, Texas) sophomore took a big step toward making his own name last week at an Under Armour camp in Chicago, landing Division I football offers from Central Florida, Oregon State and Syracuse after a strong showing.
As seen in the footage above from his freshman season at Triple A Academy in Dallas, Shilo plays quarterback and doubles as a cornerback (note his jersey No. 21).
"I've taught Shilo everything he's known from a young age,'' Deion said. "He has great feet, hips and instincts. He has all the raw tools and athleticism. He's become better at every camp. But the process is just beginning for him."

Like his father, the 6-foot-2, 182-pound Class of 2019 prospect is a two-sport athlete with baseball on his plate this spring. He plays center field and pitches.
"He has my last name, and whether it's fair or not, high expectations come with all of that," Deion said. "Shilo has to work hard to dismiss those notions and earn it on his own merit. Talent only takes you so far in life. But knowledge and dedication to your craft takes you the rest of the way."
Central Florida and Oregon
State have offered in baseball, as well. Shilo hit .414 in district play this season en route to All-District honors.
"He's a pretty good pitcher and has a cannon for an arm," Trinity Christian head coach Jeff Calvery said. "Shilo possesses superb athleticism. His blinding speed really stands out."
In addition to Shilo, Deion has another son to keep an eye on. Eighth-grader
Shedeur Sanders expects to give his older brother a battle for the starting quarterback job next fall and also plans to play basketball and baseball.
"Shedeur is the complete package," Deion said. "He works hard and has the discipline, will to succeed and good grades. He's that guy that comes home from school and calls up high school receivers to work on routes later that evening. He really understands the game at a high level for his age."
