Highland won the last time they faced Barberton and things went their way on Friday too. The Highland Hornets put the hurt on the Barberton Magics with a sharp 59-35 win. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Several Magics players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kardiay Tyler, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. Tyler is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Joey Ondo, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Highland pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points over those games. As for Barberton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Highland has already played their next game, a 59-55 loss against North Royalton on the 15th. As for Barberton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-58 defeat against Twinsburg on the 15th.
