Anadarko (Okla.) snapped the six-game winning streak of Poteau (Okla.), with a 40-0 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
RJ Sink in the first quarter, the Warriors led 34-0 at the half.
Anadarko expanded its lead to 40 points entering the fourth quarter. AHS scored once in the quarter on a
Brandon Pollard touchdown pass to Sink.
The Warriors scored 21 points in the first quarter on the way to a win. Anadarko scored on a touchdown run by Sink, a defensive touchdown and a defensive touchdown in the quarter.
AHS came into the game allowing 7.8 points per game. Poteau's zero points were well below their season average of 37.3 per game. Poteau came in allowing just 17.0 points per game this season. PHS struggled against Anadarko's offense, who entered the game scoring 48.0 points per game.
The loss comes after Poteau defeated Douglass 27-20 last week.
