The Chrisman Cardinals's five-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Heritage as Chrisman made off with a 48-25 win. The win was just what Chrisman needed coming off of a 38-18 loss in their prior game.
Chrisman can attribute much of their success to Olivia Radke, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Jones, who scored 3 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals.
Chrisman has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 2-5 record. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.3 points per game. As for Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.
Chrisman won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Iroquois West at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th. As for Heritage, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Monday.
