The Chillicothe Hornets stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Everything went their way against Savannah as Chillicothe made off with a 57-37 win. The win was nothing new for Chillicothe as they're now sitting on three straight.
James Mathew continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's played. Jackson Trout was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Chillicothe is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Savannah, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.
Chillicothe will head out on the road to square off against Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Savannah, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against King City at 6:00 p.m. King City is coming into the matchup with eight straight losses on the road, meaning Savannah will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
