Jocelyn McClary made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
McClary wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Greta Bergh, who went 1-for-2 with one run. Another was Isla Loewblosser, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
