The Ribault Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ridgeview 88-44 at home. That looming 88-44 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Ribault yet this season.
Ribault's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caleb Williams, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten assists. Williams has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kaleb McDuffie, who scored 22 points along with two steals.
Blake Thomas and Bryce Jackson certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Thomas scored 12 points along with five rebounds, while Jackson scored nine points.
Ribault pushed their record up to 12-5 with that win, which was their 16th straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.1 points per game. As for Ridgeview, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Ribault will head out on the road to face off against First Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully First Coast focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Saturday. As for Ridgeview, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Middleburg at 7:00 p.m.
