 On Blue Ridge's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Hannah Durham, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chloe Manley, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  stolen base.
 High Point Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Blue Ridge, the  win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.
