The Marine Leadership Academy Bulldogs posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Kelvyn Park and snuck past 30-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for Marine Leadership Academy.

Marine Leadership Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-7 record this season. As for Kelvyn Park, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marine Leadership Academy and Chicago Academy will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Chicago Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Thursday. As for Kelvyn Park, they will head out on the road to take on Raby at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Illinois (Raby is ranked 531st, while Kelvyn Park is ranked 533rd).
