The Greer Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to face off against the Lancaster Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Greer suffered a tough 58-37 defeat at the hands of Riverside. Greer has not had much luck with Riverside recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Lancaster waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 50-42 victory over Indian Land.
Eliza Baskins continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Lancaster's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zatyra Walls, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Greer's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Lancaster, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-14 record this season.
Greer didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lancaster in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 64-60 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Lancaster's Lathan Truesdale, who scored 17 points. Now that she won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be that much easier for Greer to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
