Port Townsend (Wash.) beat Vashon Island (Wash.) 46-14 on Saturday.

Port Townsend expanded its lead to 26 points entering the fourth quarter. PT scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by
Tim Russell.
Nick Amundsen played well for the Pirates. The junior quarterback ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 10 touchdowns on the season.
King stood out for the Redskins in the win. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which Vashon Island took, 62-30.
In a 1A Nisqually - Division 1 game next week Port Townsend (3-2) takes on Cascade Christian, and Vashon Island (0-5) will go up against Charles Wright in a non-conference game.
