Springdale Prep has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Wise Pumas at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Springdale Prep is ranked 114th, while Wise is ranked 122nd).
Last Wednesday, Springdale Prep came up short against St. John's Catholic Prep and fell 57-46.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Maddie Poole, who scored 24 points. Another player making a difference was Sam Poole 2026, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and six assists.
In what's become a running theme this season, Wise gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 47-11 win over Bladensburg. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wise.
Springdale Prep's loss dropped their record down to 20-19. As for Wise, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
