Basketball Recap: North Broward Prep Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

North Broward Prep entered their tilt with Immaculata-La Salle on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Royal Lions 55-36. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 52-48 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Frida Acevedo and Isabella Aversa certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Acevedo posted 16 points and six rebounds, while Aversa had 13 points and three steals. The contest was Acevedo's fifth in a row with at least 16 points.

North Broward Prep's record is now 14-6. As for Immaculata-La Salle, they dropped their record down to 14-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, North Broward Prep will square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Immaculata-La Salle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
