The Calvary Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders were the 61-59 winner over the Homefires Flames when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Calvary Baptist Christian Academy fell to Homefires 42-38.
Homefires was led to victory by Reagan Rademacher and Colin Chesnut. Rademacher scored 15 points, while Chesnut scored 18 points. Chesnut is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season.
Calvary Baptist Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Homefires, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Calvary Baptist Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on First Baptist Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Homefires, they will head out on the road to take on First Baptist Academy at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. First Baptist Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
