The Oskaloosa Bears won the last time they faced the Onaga Buffaloes, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Oskaloosa enjoyed a cozy 47-31 victory over Onaga.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oskaloosa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caden Kesinger, who scored 5 points along with 13 rebounds. Josh Roe was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Onaga's loss came despite strong showings from Jackson Kolterman and Graham Valburg. Kolterman scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds, while Valburg scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
The win got Oskaloosa back to even at 1-1. As for Onaga, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oskaloosa will take on Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy at TBD on Friday. As for Onaga, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Centralia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
