Bexley hasn't had much luck against Buckeye Valley recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Lions will look to defend their home field against the Barons at 5:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bexley had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Worthington Christian on Monday. The Lions put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 12-4 win. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Young went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases, while Callis got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.
