Ozark will challenge Waldron on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Ozark is currently enjoying a five-game winning streak and is looking to extend their dominance.
Ozark put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Dover as the squad secured a 55-0 win. Senior Dawson Dietz was the offensive standout of the match for Ozark, as he passed for 332 yards and 4 touchdowns. That makes it eight straight good games in a row from Dietz.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 36 points the game before, Waldron faltered in their match last Friday. They were dealt a punishing 0-49 loss at the hands of Mena. The state rankings had actually given Waldron a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Ozark's victory lifted them to 6-2 while Waldron's defeat dropped them down to 2-6. The Ozark defense got after the quarterback against Dover to the tune of four sacks, so Waldron's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the contest.
