Davies Career & Tech hadn't done well against Shea recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Sunday. The Patriots blew past the Raiders 8-2. Considering the Patriots have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

Gabriella Fisher was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Davies Career & Tech got a big performance out of Bobbi Calder, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Kylie Robert was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Davies Career & Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shea only posted a batting average of .240.

Davies Career & Tech pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Shea, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

As of now, neither Davies Career & Tech nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
