Badger had won two straight games and Alison Price did her part to make it three on Wednesday. The Braves came out on top against Conneaut by a score of 3-1 thanks in part to Price, who had 30 digs, 18 kills, and two aces. She has been hot, having posted seven or more kills the last eight times she's played.
Badger was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 18-25, 25-8.
Badger's win came from a few key players Windham will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brianna Lendak, who had 14 kills, five digs, and four aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game. Morgan Hall was another key player, getting 25 digs and four assists.
Badger was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive contests.
Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Badger, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's match: Windham has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Badger struggles in that department as they've been averaging 13.8 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
