After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Indian Rocks Christian, the Hernando Christian Academy Lions were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 75-18 victory over West Hernando Christian. With that win, Hernando Christian Academy brought their scoring average up to 51.3 points per game.
Leading Hernando Christian Academy to victory were Caydon Williams and Carson Hedick. Williams scored 17 points, while Hedick scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hedick has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaden Montzka, who scored 12 points.
Hernando Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for West Hernando Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Hernando Christian Academy will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seven Rivers Christian is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. West Hernando Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
