With a playoff game on the line, the Southern Columbia Area Tigers rose to the challenge on Friday. They didn't even let Troy onto the board and left with a 14-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for Southern Columbia Area who now have five in a row.
Garrett Garcia was his usual excellent self, rushing for 135 yards and two touchdowns.
Southern Columbia Area's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Troy, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-1.
Southern Columbia Area will take on Bald Eagle Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bald Eagle Area has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 232 points over their last five matches. Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
