In what's become a running theme this season, the Valley Vikings gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 65-14 win over Eldorado at home. That 51 points margin sets a new team best for Valley this season.
Leading Valley to victory were Jennifer Hughes and Anaya Williams. Hughes scored six points along with 17 rebounds and four steals, while Williams dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Williams also posted eight assists for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Steidler, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Eldorado, they bumped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Amplus Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Amplus Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Eldorado, they will head out on the road to take on Cheyenne at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
